Spaghetti Bolognase

A family favourite, that is easy to cook in batches to store for a later date in airtight containers.

1 onion (remove skin)
1 red pepper (remove core)
1 green pepper (remove core)
1 courgette
3 Carrots (peeled)
2 clove garlic (peeled)
2 tins Chopped Tomatoes
500g Lean Beef Mince
Mixed Herbs
200g Spaghetti
Salt and Pepper to season
Olive oil

Utensils
Blender
Large Saucepan
Medium Saucepan

1.Heat the oil in the larger pan
2. Add the Mince and brown
3. In the meantime add the vegetables to the blender and process until broken down. You may need to do this in batches
4. Once the meat has browned add the vegetables
5. Cook through for approx 5-10 minutes to allow the veg to soften
6. Add the tomatoes, bring to the boil and then simmer for at least 20 minutes.
7. Cook your Spaghetti
8. Add the herbs to the Sauce for the last 5 minutes
9. Serve together with Parmesan
