We depart from Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan at 08:00 Friday and return approx 17:00 Monday.

If you are not local to the area you may wish to be picked up en-route, however this must be no more than 5 minutes off the chosen route from Wales to Cornwall.

You may want to meet us in Barry, we can give you options of where to park for free .

You may want to meet us in Cornwall.

About 2 weeks before the start of the trip we will set up a Whatsapp group to make sure all these needs are met and no stone is left unturned.

For the stay in the Bunk house

• Sleeping bag or single duvet
• Single Bed sheet (you can get one from Amazon for about £6)
• Pillow
• 1 x towel
• Your Toiletries (Lynx Africa -male, Bodyform -female)
• For September and October trips, Hat, Gloves, Waterproof coat (it’s not cold this time of year and water is at its warmest – however sometimes rain and wind chill is a factor due to our location). Don’t worry, hugs are administered for cold people.

Water Activities

• A day-bag to include:
  • 1 x towel
  • A pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet (for Coasteering)
  • If you have it a rash vest to wear under wetsuits (if not provided)
  • A bin bag or two (for wet kit)
  • Sun protection for your face if you are vulnerable to burning
  • REMEMBER : ALL wetsuits, boots, helmets, boards etc for the activities are supplied. NO NEED TO BRING wetsuits .

Walking and exploring with Brawd

• To make sure – no Dunlop green flash. Trainers are fine.
• Plan for an autumn temp outside – could be quite warm – could be cold.
• Some trainers or boots for walking (basically something with grip – trail trainers are fine)
• Backpack or fanny pack

For the Day

• Shorts
• T shirts
• Jumper
• Rain jacket
• Longer trousers
• I would pack some compression gear in case you are aching from the activities
• Some warm clothing
• A beanie/hat/pair of gloves

For the Evening

• We are in Cornwall – no one gives a shit
• All I can suggest is clothes you would go to your local pub in.
• Head-torch
• Outdoor trainers (preferably water proof) will make life much easier for you .Eg like a pair of Merrells etc.

Misc

• Facemasks etc
• We will try and stop at Newquay for some house cash or the services
• Phone Chargers
• A bottle you can refill with water – let’s try and reduce a bit of single use plastic
• Pain killers

Our Water based activities are provided by our long standing adventure partners Newquay Water Sports Centre who we've been working closely with since 2015 to run these trips successfully.

Our long standing relationship both personally and professionally allows us flexibility around activities in all conditions, mood of the group - all factors considered to provide the ultimate bespoke adventure.

You should have adequate travel insurance that covers you for cancellation and the activities.

The cost of food and drink are not included.

For Breakfast we usually cook together in the accommodation everyone "mukking" in adds to the whole adventure experience.

Lunch is usually on the go around Newquay (most dietary requirements are catered for there)

Dinner - For two evenings we usually eat out and on the final evening usual prepare a BBQ or whatever the group decides.

We need a minimum of 10 to run this trip. If we do not make these numbers 14  days before the trip will be cancelled with a full refund.
