Are you ready to join a unique new SUP adventure with no fixed plan?
Are you ready to breath in the feeling of freedom sailing on your own chartered yacht?
Just you, the natural world and the ocean environment?
You’ll be living on board a 60ft Yacht with a small group of like-minded individuals choosing where to paddle each day with the capability for exploring distant islands or sheltered Lochs, all with the convenience , comfort and safety of stepping back on board your boat for fine cuisine and a chilled beverage.
Brawd and The Water Skills Academy are extremely excited to bring you our SUP and Sail Adventure Holiday for 2022.
Stunning sailing, white beaches and wonderful Stand up Paddleboarding. A guided SUP adventure aboard the SV Adventure Wales. The yacht sleeps 8 comfortably in bunks twin cabins. Relax and eat in the deck level saloon, while travelling through breathtaking scenery, skippered by a qualified and experienced captain.

Depart Oban - Sunday 5th June 2022 Return Oban - Friday 10th June 2022
Expect to travel alongside the famous wildlife of the West Coast of Scotland including Dolphins, Whales, Seals, Otters, Sea Eagles and if we’re lucky Basking Sharks too!
Our adventure starts from the seaside town of Oban nestled on the Scottish west coast, surrounded by miles of dramatic shores and beautiful countryside. The perfect touring base for the start of our epic adventure.
We depart Oban on the evening of Sunday 5th June and return in the afternoon of Friday 10th June.
What happens in between is an adventure of a lifetime.
Shall we go to the Isle of Mull?
Maybe we’ll visit Tobermory, one of the Highlands most picturesque fishing ports and then go on a wildlife SUP tour to spot Whales or maybe Basking Sharks?

Fingers crossed we'll get to see Minke Whale which are quite common from our Paddle boards or at least from the boat.
Maybe we’ll explore the tiny Island just off Mull but almost in another world, Iona, it’s atmosphere stepped in millennia as a pilgrimage destination. Paddling here the granite is a striking pink. Combine this with the crystal clear waters, blue sky and white sand and you have a wonderful place to paddle.
Weather permitting along to Treshnish and Staffa which is a journey of quite magical qualities, The Treshnish Isles are without doubt a green oasis in a turquoise sea which is dominated by the wildlife and a firm favourite of everyone - the Puffin.
Across the turquoise sea is Staffa with it’s unique and spectacular cliffs guarding the most famous of caves, Fingals Cave. Sir Walter Scott, Dr David Livingstone and Queen Victoria to name a few have visited this . It inspired them all and it will most certainly inspire you.
Your Private Yacht Adventure Wales
The 60ft two-masted schooner Adventure Wales, formerly named Ocean Venture, was built for adventure and over the years she has circumnavigated the world, won First in Class in the famous Round the Island Race, raced in numerous transatlantic activities (including the ARC) and taken part in the international Tall Ships Races.
